About the Role
This is a multidisciplinary position, classifications included are Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist Level 4.
This position is designed to be a senior clinician who can consult with the inpatient and community teams, advising on discharge, care planning and complex care arrangements. This position will provide education on complex clinical issues to consumers, carers and clinicians, and lead a quality approach to OPMH services. This position will provide expert direct clinical care to staff and consumers from OPMH services that cover the entire of SLHD community. The role includes working with service partners in particular GP services, aged care services, community managed organisations and hospital based services.

Ideal Candidate
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- NSW Registered Nurse with AHPRA with minimum of five (5) years post registration mental health experience and minimum 3 years’ experience in OPMH, or tertiary qualification in occupational therapy or social work, AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership to AASW as required with extensive experience in Mental Health and OPMH.
- Understanding of and commitment to recovery oriented services and consumer involvement in service design, implementation and evaluation.
