About The Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
We are seeking an Operating Assistant to provide clinical support services, including general assistance in operating theatres, cleaning duties and transfers of patients, equipment and supplies at the facility. Must be able to work a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster.
- All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
- Effective organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties including transfer of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients or willingness to learn.
- Ability to commit to a roster providing afternoon and evening cover 7 days a week, including night shift.
