About the Role

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

 

This position assists the Manager Management Accounting to manage budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting for SLHD.
You will contribute to the SLHD meeting its financial management obligations and the effective implementation of finance systems to deliver efficiencies and to support the reliability, integrity and accuracy of financial information. 

 

You will also assist in the provision of management accounting services including efficiency planning and financial performance monitoring for allocated portfolios comprised of a range of the LHDs facilities and services.

Ideal Candidate

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or equivalent and/or meet the requirements to be a member of a recognised Australian professional accounting body. 
  • Strong management accounting experience in a large and complex health organisation with demonstrated high level problem solving skills. 
  • Analytical skills and capacity to interpret and present financial and non-financial data to various stakeholders.
