About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The After Hours Telephone Services Supervisor primarily assists in the daily operations, overseeing the Telephone Services Department after hours whilst assisting the Corporate Support Manager in management of day-to-day tasks. The position is responsible for the provision of switchboard functions to a high standard of customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. The role will also assist with auditing, administrative functions, ordering supplies, rostering, and staff management.

Ideal Candidate
- Willing to work after hours with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer literacy with experience across a range of applications and ability to learn
- Has high level of leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with ability to appropriately liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including staff.
