Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligible for membership with AASW. Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology (with a minimum four year degree with a major in Psychology and reregistration with the Psychologists Board of Australia) and registered with AHPRA.
- Extensive experience in mental health clinical and vocational rehabilitation with knowledge of best practice mental health rehabilitation principles; current models of practice; and ability to plan, implement and evaluate clinical and vocational individual and group rehabilitation programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation, and a strengths based and recovery focused approach in service provision.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making, advocacy skills and ability to collaborate within the Multidisciplinary Team and a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
- Experience in providing in-depth consultation, education and supervision to staff to enhance service excellence.
- Advanced clinical reasoning skills and leadership in navigating challenging and complex consumer care situations.
- Ability to initiate, lead and implement quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
- Current class C NSW Drivers Licence.
