Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse or Midwife who holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health management or working towards attainment
- Demonstrated problem solving and planning skills and the ability to apply these skills to the development of strategic direction, policies, procedures and practices that support SESLHD capacity building strategies.
- Previous experience in developing, implementing and evaluating projects/programs aimed at developing nursing and midwifery workforce and /or management of workforce related matters
- Demonstrated experience in nursing/midwifery management roles
- High level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage, liaise, consult and negotiate in a collaborative way with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Sound organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines whilst dealing with competing demands
- Excellent computer literacy skills in all aspects of MS Office and corporate systems, including data management
