Nurse Manager Grade 3 - Randwick Campus Operating Suite (RCOS) - Prince of Wales Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Registered Nurse who holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
2. Recognised tertiary management qualifications or working towards same, and evidence of recent professional development to further enhance leadership and management competencies.
3. Recent clinical and operational experience within a complex operating suite environment, including the ability to manage flow of emergency and elective cases.
4. Demonstrated experience in the application of change management principles and achievement of measurable outcomes.
5. Demonstrated effective verbal, written and negotiation skills with an aptitude to utilize relevant information technology platforms and ability to provide clear and concise plans and reports.
6. Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate and incorporate where appropriate emerging trends within the profession of nursing.
7. Evidence of experience in financial management and ability to develop and lead financial strategies.
8. Sound knowledge of current clinical practice, its delivery and models of care and the ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff to achieve service and professional goals.
