Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1(Temporary Part-Time) - Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre and Emergency Department (PECC/ED) - St George Mental Health Service

Selection Criteria:

1. Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse and at least 5 years full time equivalent post graduate experience and approved post registration nursing qualifications relevant to the clinical area, or qualifications or experience deemed appropriate
2. Sound knowledge and experience of assessing persons within an acute environment
3. Demonstrated understanding of nursing processes and their contributions to best practice principles
4. Proven clinical leadership skills in within the Mental Health program
5. Demonstrated ability to conduct a thorough Mental Health assessment., including formulation and development of immediate management plans and strategies
6. Competency in the use of information and communication technology, including standard office software, for email, internet searches, analysis of clinical data, presentations and clinical documentation
7. Excellant verbal communication skills and be proficient at documenting the outcome of assessments contemporaneously
