Selection Criteria
  1. Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, business, health care or a related field, or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Previous experience working in a hospital environment, with demonstrated experience in budgeting, planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels.
  3. Highly developed computer literacy in Office applications, and working knowledge of NSW Health State wide information systems such as, Power Budget, Power FTE, Oracle and Content Manager.
  4. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a range of clinical services
  5. Demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high volume work environment.
  6. High level oral and written communication skills
  7. Previous experience in hospital wide budget setting, including identification of the staff profile, maintenance contracts and cash flowing monthly expenses
  8. Previous experience in working with clinicians to develop plans for efficiencies and the road-mapping of specific projects.
