Where you'll be working
This role is based at The Sutherland Hospital, requiring travel across SESLHD sites.
The role
The BEACON Project (Building End of life Awareness, Compassion & Outreach Networks) is a Public Health Palliative Care initiative aiming to build a community whereby every person, every family and every community member knows what to do when someone is caring, dying or grieving. Integral to the project, this position will scope local community needs and contemporary volunteering services to assess the feasibility of a SESLHD Palliative Care Volunteering Service, and determine an appropriate service model. The role will tailor strategies to enhance the volunteering service and provide an evidence-based approach to better support the local palliative care population.
