- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health-related discipline, current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA or equivalent) and demonstrated clinical experience as a Social Worker/Art Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist/Speech Pathologist/Dietician/Diversional Therapist.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated skills and knowledge in a variety of creative arts mediums (visual arts, design, music creative writing and/or performing arts).
- Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent and young adult health needs, and the impact of chronic conditions and/or disability on health outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in working with adolescents and young adults in individual and groupwork modalities.
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to quality improvement and processes related to adolescent and young adult (AYA) care.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt these to meet the needs of young people, their families/carers, health professionals and managers.
- Ability and willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings to provide a service that is accessible to young people.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers license (Class C or equivalent)

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
