  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health-related discipline, current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA or equivalent) and demonstrated clinical experience as a Social Worker/Art Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist/Speech Pathologist/Dietician/Diversional Therapist.
  2. Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated skills and knowledge in a variety of creative arts mediums (visual arts, design, music creative writing and/or performing arts).
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent and young adult health needs, and the impact of chronic conditions and/or disability on health outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated experience in working with adolescents and young adults in individual and groupwork modalities.
  5. Demonstrated experience in contributing to quality improvement and processes related to adolescent and young adult (AYA) care.
  6. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt these to meet the needs of young people, their families/carers, health professionals and managers.
  7. Ability and willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings to provide a service that is accessible to young people.
  8. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers license (Class C or equivalent)

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
