  1. Certificate IV in Hospital Health Pharmacy Support, or equivalent.
  2. Extensive experience in Clinical Trials Pharmacy management with a preference for paediatric experience.
  3. Experience in quality assurance, documentation, and good manufacturing practice relevant to clinical trials pharmacy.
  4. Experience in the safe handling and aseptic production of hazardous, cytotoxic, trial medications and gene therapy.
  5. Demonstrated understanding and experience of dispensing/ issuing clinical trials medications eg completing dispensing logs, inventory management etc.
  6. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and organisational skills with a detailed approach to processes.
  7. Demonstrated experience in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures to provide compliance with relevant policy directives and regulatory requirements.
  8. Participate in Pharmacy Department after-hours service including weekend and public holiday roster.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, as this is a Category A position, workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.​

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
