What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the Assistant in Nursing (AIN) position in the Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) will be to assist in the delivery of SCHN’s Respiratory Protection Program by supporting organizational fit testing opportunities.
 
The RPP AIN will:
  • Work collaboratively with the SCHN Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 (CNS2) to facilitate fit testing requirements for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) 
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional behaviours in their performance. 
  • Adhere to the NSW Health Code of Conduct 
  • Provide evidence of completion of annual mandatory training 
  • Practice within the NSW Health guides, the position description and guidelines for the SCHN and are required to adheres to Policies and Procedures
  1. Completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
  2. Demonstrated ability to be an effective team member.
  3. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Relevant experience as an Assistant in Nursing in an acute care area.
  5. Demonstrated effective time management skills.
  6. Must be available to work Monday to Friday.
