Applications are invited for the position of Nurse Manager staffing at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick .The Nurse Manager staffing is responsible for the coordination and management of the nursing casual pool and virtual ward , which involves effective and efficient end to end recruitment to ensure a skilled nursing workforce.
The role is pivotal in providing leadership and daily operational management for the efficient and effective co-ordination of nursing staff across all clinical areas of the facility to ensure there are safe and appropriate staffing levels and skill mix available to meet patient care needs on a daily basis.

What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager Staffing is responsible for the management and recruitment of the SCH (Virtual) Ward and the Casual Nursing Pool. 
The Nurse Manager Staffing provides leadership and daily operational management for the efficient and effective co-ordination of nursing staff across all clinical areas of the facility to ensure there are safe and appropriate staffing levels and skill mix available to meet patient care needs on a daily basis.
The position develops, implements and maintains systems that provide data and information which are relevant to the position to Nursing Executive and other key stakeholders within the facility, to assist in the development of recommendations and implementation of initiatives to enhance the effective utilisation of nursing staff across the facility.
The Nurse Manager Staffing actively participates at meetings and relevant Committees and contributes to the review and development of policies, procedures and strategic direction of the Nursing Services.
