What you'll be doing
The administration officer will be an integral member of the Ear Nose and Throat Surgical (ENT) and Base of Skull Service (BOSS) teams at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, ensuring the smooth running of the service and working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

  1. Demonstrated computer literacy, effective interpersonal skills, experience in administration working within a medical, clinical or academic environment.
  2. Demonstrate high level written and verbal communication skills to support all team members in administrative support.
  3. Proven ability to prioritise workload in a high activity environment and demonstrated ability to work to deadlines.
  4. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
  5. Demonstrate high level data entry skills and knowledge.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently under broad direction and be self-motivated and take initiative and ability to be a team player within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Experience with information systems including patient information, financial management, procurement, electronic scheduling, personnel and payroll systems.
  8. Ability to use initiative and exercise good judgement when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
