This is an exciting administration position that supports the leadership team in the Emergency Department. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday-Friday 0730-1600 (hours can be negotiable but must be 8hrs per day). We are looking for a dynamic, adaptable and motivated person to join our team.

What you'll be doing
The CSO will provide timely and accurate administrative / transactional services for members of the health care team on designated ward(s) / department(s) under the direction of a NUM/Head of department. The CSO will work under broad supervision but will be required to take some independent action. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures. Decisions affecting the overall functioning and management of the ward / departments remain the responsibility of the NUM/Department Head. 
  1. Administrative experience working in Health or equivalent
  2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels
  3. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  4. Demonstrated experience in word processing, excel, iPM and eMR
  5. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of the team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
