Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick Psychology Department is currently seeking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist to a temporary part-time position working with children, young people and their families, referred by the Complex Epilepsy Service and the Brain Tumour Rehabiltation Teams. The Clinical Psychologist will be an integral member of these multi-disciplinary teams and the Psychology Department

What you'll be doing
The Clinical Psychologist working within the respective Complex Epilepsy and Brain Tumour Rehabilitation teams provides assessment and therapeutic interventions to children referred for behavioural, emotional and social problems. Within the multidisciplinary team context, the Clinical Psychologist provides expertise regarding psychological issues and assists with the planning of interventions for clients.  Assessment results and treatment recommendations are communicated to parents, health professionals and any other relevant persons/ organizations involved in the child’s care.
The Clinical Psychologist will also be involved in various educational in-services and mandatory training.  The Clinical Psychologist is a member of the Psychology Department, and will be required to perform administrative and professional duties in addition to their clinical role. This position will also cover other positions when required, as directed by the Head of Psychology.
