This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration officer to join the Allied Health administrative team at Sydney Children's Hospital. This role will provide coordination of Medicare billing specific to Audiology and work with the administrative team as a whole to provide coordinated coverage of administrative duties including patient enquiries and bookings to a range of allied health departments. 

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Audiology Manager and staff of the Audiology Department.  The position is also responsible for assisting with the preparation of meeting papers, frontline triaging of patients, the maintenance of related databases, daily Medicare billing, diary management of the Audiology Manager, office management and administrative management of all patients.

You are someone who:
  • Has excellent organisational skills and skills in office management including the ability to prioritise numerous and competing tasks, maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates ability to be able to triage and manage issues as they arise and an extensive understanding of patient management.
  • Values the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
