What you'll be doing

The SCHN Administration Assistant, Interventional Radiology (IR) ensures smooth administrative functioning of the Interventional Radiology team including assisting with patient processes including liaising with families and referrers, booking and waitlist management. 
The role needs to safeguard all documentation and electronic data input to ensure it is accurate, legible and complete, and comply with local procedures/protocols.
  1. Demonstrated experience in the understanding of surgical waitlist management.
  2. Successful completion of a Medical Terminology Certificate
  3. Hospital or medical clerical experience, ideally with management of elective patients
  4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Demonstrated customer service, conflict management and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  7. Excellent data entry accuracy with high attention to detail
  8. Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products with experience using eMR and RIS-PACs desirable

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
