  1. Significant and relevant administrative experience in large complex organisations.

  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact with people at all levels.

  3. Demonstrated high level organisational and administrative skills including the ability to prioritise workload and monitor progress of workflow.

  4. Experience with human resource information systems and demonstrated ability to generate reports, employee assignment changes and contract renewals.

  5. Proven proficiency in using PC based software, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and other health applications.

  6. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and exercise initiative and judgement in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.

  7. Demonstrated ability to research industrial instruments to provide professional and accurate advice to staff in relation to leave, travel and other HR matters.

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are required for Category A positions (refer to NSW Policy Directive PD2022_030 Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases).

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. 

Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
