We are seeking a highly motivated results driven individual to join our expanding Integrated Care team. The candidate with a passion to contribute to integrating health system for children and young people will possess organisational, numeric, computer, written and verbal communication skills. The individual will carry out a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and require judgment in selecting and applying established and developing principles, techniques and methods. The individual will provide secretarial and administrative support including routine data extraction, reporting, supporting implementation of integrated care projects and will support the team to enhance integration for staff providing care, and for families that access care in SCHN.
What you'll be doing
Integrated Care team is fostering systems integration within SCHN and at the interface with social care. The team is enhancing integration between people, processes, models of care and enablers. The team is fostering integration to enhance experience for staff, enhance experience and achieve better outcomes for children, young people and families and deliver value for the system.
The position will provide high level secretarial and administrative support that ensures effective and efficient operations of the Department and support the team with administrative services to enhance integration in SCHN.
- Demonstrated experience of and capacity to provide high level support to a department.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills including use of Microsoft office suite of applications, especially intermediate Excel skills. Skills in Content Manager, procurement applications and patient administration databases, in a hospital-based system.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain relationships, exceptional interpersonal, communication and written communication skills with proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent time management skills, strong organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines, while paying attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated initiative to improve processes in the department to work efficiently as a team.
- Experience participating in change through the implementation of solutions.
- Valid unrestricted driver’s licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
