Selection Criteria

  1. Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Immunopathology, and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.

  2. Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.

  3. Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

  4. Demonstrated personal qualities including effective communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.

  5. Demonstrated commitment to the principles of clinical quality management, continuous improvement and a contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.

  6. Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise in the specialty of Immunopathology.
