- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to conduct/support a variety of performance measurement processes and to accurately analyse the data and information outputs to determine the implications for the organisation.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality and safety within the health industry and public sector context.
- Experience as a scientist, quality officer or manager working in a multidisciplinary NATA or other relevant accredited organisation.
- Competence in the use of a wide range of information and communication technologies, including hardware and software relevant to this role- for example email communications, internet research, spreadsheet/ database reporting and analysis, presentation programs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor message to the audience, clearly explain complex concepts, write fluently in a range of styles and formats and actively listen to others.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with others from a diverse range of stakeholders, sharing lessons learned across teams/units.
- Licence to drive in NSW and ability to travel occasionally for work purposes, including overnight stays.
