  1. Highly developed systemic thinking skills, including the evaluation and analysis of frameworks, policies, procedures and systems to determine effectiveness in meeting agreed objectives and outcomes.
  2. Demonstrated willingness to challenge the status quo and work constructively with stakeholders to envisage and design efficient, effective, and sustainable standards and procedures to deliver defined organisational objectives.
  3. Superior interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders and customers to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  4. Familiarity with pathology processes, standards and legislation relating to packaging, transport, chain of custody, evidence management, and specimen handling.
  5. Proven ability to translate new or amended standards and processes into high quality documentation, such as procedure documents, training aides, and other related material for use in a clinical environment, and with the end user in mind.
  6. Demonstrated skills in collaborating across project/program workstreams to ensure the delivery of processes, standards and systems which meet a defined set of organisational objectives.
  7. Strong organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with capacity to lead and manage complex areas of work. This includes meeting specified outcomes and time frames, while anticipating problems, developing contingencies and negotiating solutions.
  8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or equivalent.
