Nurse Unit Manager - Pathology Collections

- Registered Nurse with current registration through the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A current First Aid Certificate and a commitment to maintain a current certification.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience managing a clinical team within a health care setting and demonstrated understanding of a Pathology environment and a Clinical Pathology Collection Service.
- Has undertaken and continues to engage in professional development to further advance their management and leadership competencies.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to quality improvement and the ability to manage change.
- Computer literacy skills – including Microsoft Word; Excel Spread sheets; Recruitment system; Rostering System; Procurement.
- Unencumbered Class C NSW Driver's Licence and capacity to travel to sites as required
