  1. Demonstrated skills and experience in the operations and management of an extensive fleet portfolio including maintenance, acquisition, disposal, and management aspects, with a focus on industry best practice principles, relevant legislation and organisational policy.
  2. Knowledge and demonstrated experience with corporate financial and administrative information systems, fleet management and telematics systems.
  3. Knowledge of the motor and fleet industry and ability to deal with dealers, manufacturers, government authorities, contractors and service providers. Have knowledge of industry tools and strategies for driving change and continuous improvement.
  4. Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent combination of qualifications and substantial relevant work experience in fleet management and operations.
  5. Demonstrated high level communication skills, and the ability to produce high quality reports, analysis of options, presentations and briefings.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills with particularly strong influencing, negotiation and networking skills.
  7. Numeracy, budgeting, forecasting including experience with managing a cost centre budget.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve strategic goals, manage multi-faceted projects, meet tight deadlines and produce quality work with strong focus on attention to detail.
