  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Medical Laboratory Science and/or extensive experience around laboratory practices and a strong understanding of the various disciplines/specialties within a medical pathology laboratory.
  2. Senior management capability and experience demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and an ability to direct organisational change.
  3. Excellent strategic planning, delivery of major projects and policy development skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to make complex decisions and implement initiatives to support quality service delivery in all locations where Pathology Services are provided.
  5. Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills at a senior level including experience advising executive/board members along with a track record of establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders.
