  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Management or related field and/or extensive experience and knowledge in the delivery of forensic medicine services at a senior/executive level with a demonstrated record of successful achievement.
  2. Proven leadership experience in the development and delivery of operational services in a complex, multidisciplinary environment, with capability to motivate, influence and develop staff, along with demonstrating commitment to organisational vision and values.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of change management processes; with strong ability to identify areas for improvement/efficiency and effectively formulate strategies to maximise opportunities.
  4. Advanced contemporary knowledge of relevant emerging trends and technologies, legislation changes, research and education to inform strategic direction
  5. Demonstrated financial management knowledge and understanding of financial processes and principles; with capacity to ensure resources are allocated appropriately and make informed managerial decisions.
  6. Highly developed communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, with demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning and report writing.
  7. Strong ability to engage and maintain effective and collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
  8. Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.

This is a Category A position. All Category A applicants must read and understand Policy Directive PD2018_009 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Diseases. All new recruits must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. New recruits must provide evidence against specified diseases and comply with the requirements of this policy at their own cost prior to appointment.

This position is a permanent position. To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency. All staff employed by NSW FASS will be required to supply a reference buccal sample so that their DNA profile can be compared to other generated profiles to exclude the possibility of contamination.
