  1. Demonstrated medical reception experience including HICAPS Medicare online billing.
  2. A demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a high-volume work environment under general instruction requiring minimal supervision.
  3. Suitable communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively as part of a team and to liaise confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  4. Competent skills in computer use and relevant software programs eg Word, Excel, Outlook.
  5. Experience in providing administrative support within a healthcare or similar setting.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases

This is a Category A position. All Category A applicants must read and understand NSW Health Policy Directive PD2024_015 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases. All recruits must provide evidence against specified diseases and comply with the requirements of this policy at their own cost prior to appointment.
