An exciting permanent full-time opportunity is available to join a dedicated Pathology Administration team at the large and dynamic NSW Health Pathology Wollongong Laboratory. We are looking for a dedicated, adaptable and customer focused individual who excels in leadership, has excellent communication skills, is customer focused and who is passionate about improving Health Services to the local community. 

The NSW Health Pathology Wollongong Administration team is located within the Clinical Haematology Department of the Wollongong Hospital, which provides both inpatient and outpatient services to the Illawarra and Shoalhaven communities. The NSWHP Wollongong team take pride in their professionalism and focus on high quality service delivery, promoting a harmonious environment that is connected to community and its stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage an administrative team to ensure the delivery of an effective, quality focused service to support the [insert name of service/unit or position

  3. Demonstrated experience in problem solving, conflict resolution and risk management
  4. Displayed high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  5. Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer-focused service and applying quality improvement initiatives to workplace practices and procedures
  6. Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of computer hardware, Microsoft software applications and electronic systems to complete work activities.
