Reporting to the Director Office of the Chief Executive you will meet the following knowledge skills and experience:

 

  1. Experience in developing, delivering and evaluating health, fitness and nutrition content to a wide and dynamic audiences through a variety of delivery modes including face-to-face, online and blended delivery approaches.
  2. Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating health and wellness programs that support staff wellbeing.
  3. Understanding of health and wellness related legislation including the Work Health and Safety Legislation and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.
  4. Experience working in the emergency services sector and/or understanding of the challenges faced by emergency services personnel.
  5. Demonstrated ability to encourage and motivate staff, manage conflict and provide continuous support to staff who may come from a broad range of roles and have varying backgrounds and experiences.
  6. High-level interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Computer literacy, including databases, spreadsheets, word processing, powerpoint and other applications used in the Windows environment.
  8. Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. exercise science, human sciences, health promotion etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience.
