ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the role is to assist the head of the business units of Finance & Corporate Services plus Clinical Directorates along with other cross-functional teams during each stage of a procurement activity, ensuring effective administration of all procurement processes, procedures, and governance frameworks. The Procurement Manager, corporate and shared services provide leadership and direction in the strategic sourcing of clinical and corporate goods and services, including supply market research and development, strategic planning and execution, and contract and risk management activities, to meet specific business needs and government procurement policy compliances.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
We are seeking an individual who can effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to undertake sourcing activities for Construction, Corporate, and Clinical Categories of goods and Services for NSW Ambulance. The Procurement Manager, corporate and shared services provides leadership and direction in the strategic sourcing of clinical and corporate goods and services, including supply market research, development of strategic procurement plan and tendering, and contract establishment or execution. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating with the Ministry of Health, HealthShare, and other relevant government agencies, developing commercial risk profiles, and managing the probity process to ensure that all activities achieve the best value for money. The position holder will also prepare and manage contract execution, facilitating a seamless handover to project teams and providing expert advice on procurement matters, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
