  1. Demonstrated experience in media relations, with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience
  2. Demonstrated ability to prepare proactive and reactive responses, writing content for a range of media including feature articles and the ability to post daily updates for media and reputation management purposes through social media platforms such as Instagram, twitter and Facebook.
  3. Show initiative in investigating, developing and managing proactive opportunities.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  5. Ability to function individually and as part of a team and demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast pace in a demanding environment.
  6. Sound knowledge and ability in computer skills including word, excel, access and email.
  7. An understanding of the role NSW Ambulance plays in the broader health system, the community and the external factors, which impact on service delivery.
