NSW Ambulance is seeking to appoint high calibre, contemporary leaders to the position of Station Officer based across the state of NSW.

As a Station Officer, you will remain part of the operational crew,and will have the responsibility of supervising your team on a day-to-day basis to enable the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective emergency health transport, clinical and operational practice, rescue and patient transport services for the community.

The Station Officer role will offer you the opportunity to:

  • Supervise a team of staff, ensuring they are adequately resourced to provide timely, efficient and sustainable ambulance operations to meet government and community expectations.
  • Motivate and lead a skilled clinical team to reach their full potential through the delivery of high-quality ambulance services to the surrounding communities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for staff to ensure day to day operations continue and any arising workplace culture or performance issues are managed effectively in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Proactively undertake regular reporting activities to ensure staff compliance with clinical standards and policies.
  • Partner with the Station Manager / Duty Operations Manager to report on station performance and key performance indicators.

This advertisement is aimed to create a merit list of successful applicants for Permanent and Temporary Full Time (up to 18 months) appointments. There will also be an opportunity for those successful to act in a Higher Grade Duty. Successful candidates post application will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at Sydney Operations Centre at Sydney Olympic Park or virtually on Microsoft Teams.

Applicants who meet the requirements, must have completed a minimum of P1 for 1 year with NSW Ambulance (or a like-minded statutory Ambulance Service and credentialed with NSW Ambulance). Please apply through ROB with the following:
