ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Peer Support Administration Officer is to provide effective and timely administrative support for a range of functions within People & Culture, Staff Health directorate. Working with the Coordinator Peer Support requires flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn new functional activities and concepts in a timely manner, becoming familiar with all key duties of administrative requirements within Peer Support. 

 

While activities undertaken in Peer Support will be directly aligned to the work within the specific section, duties will include the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to generate a range of documentation, including the use of associated People & Culture Software programs to enter and maintain records and reporting. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and where necessary, the development and implementation of office procedures and system support to best support the Coordinator Peer Support. It will also include liaising with relevant stakeholders and obtaining information to assist the Peer Support Officers. This position holder will also be responsible for providing documentation and file management including the use of InReach and Stafflink, training coordination, reporting compliance, database and maintaining/monitoring various peer support mailboxes.

 

The position will work with the Coordinator Peer Support to effectively provide a high level of administrative systems and processes.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint

  • Ability to effectively support the Peer Support Program Coordinator with efficiency and care
