ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic safety projects across all functions of NSW Ambulance. Embedded in the safety team and reporting to the Associate Director, Safety, the Coordinator provides project management expertise and ensures alignment with organisational priorities.
The role oversees governance frameworks, monitors project performance, and drives implementation activities to enhance safety outcomes for NSW Ambulance.
Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement in health and safety systems.

ABOUT YOU
- You are an experienced project coordinator or manager with a strong background in delivering strategic initiatives within complex, fast-paced environments - ideally in safety, health, or emergency services. You bring a structured and solutions-focused approach to project planning, governance, and implementation, with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Your strengths lie in building collaborative relationships, driving accountability, and maintaining momentum across diverse project teams. You are comfortable navigating competing demands, applying project management methodologies, and ensuring that deliverables align with organisational objectives and timeframes.
- Your attention to detail is matched by your ability to see the bigger picture, and you are confident preparing reports, tracking milestones, and supporting strategic decision-making. A strong communicator, you engage effectively with leaders, subject matter experts, and frontline teams to translate complex project goals into actionable outcomes that strengthen the delivery of health and safety services.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, confidentiality and to deal with sensitive issues.
- You are confident using digital tools to support project tracking, reporting, and analysis, with experience in modern platforms such as SharePoint, Power BI and MS Forms highly regarded.
