ABOUT THE ROLE

The Advisor, Recognition and Protocol is a member of the Awards & Recognition Team within Marketing & Communications This role acts as an advisor to NSW Ambulance's senior management and teams on awards, recognition and protocol for a range of formal events, correspondence and meetings.

The position holder will implement strategies, guidelines and procedures to contribute to the achievement of NSW Ambulance's objectives and positive reputation.

This role is responsible for the coordination of internal and external medals, honours, awards and recognition programs and events. They will organise and chair the internal Awards & Recognition Committee and the NSW Ambulance Awards Program.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and co-ordinate multiple tasks of varying complexity in a high-pressure environment.
  • Comfortable with a high volume workload and have the ability to prioritise tasks for the team while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Work effectively as part of a larger team and maintain effective working relationships across NSW Ambulance and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive or restricted information, and promote the NSW Ambulance brand and reputation.
  • Able to use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
