This position is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative aged care service.
It is a part time position currently offered as a short-term contract.

Welfare Officer Non-Graduate (Level 2): $40.16 - $41.87
Welfare Officer (Level 1): $37.03 - $43.27

What you'll be doing
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor degree in a relevant field eg community welfare, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Demonstrated understanding of the complexities involved in the residential aged care placement process and knowledge of the Commonwealth Aged Care legislation and funded aged care services.
- Experience and understanding of the issues relation to older people and younger people with a disability, and the complex health problems requiring aged care placement.
