Social Worker - Women, Family and Emergency Care Team
The RNSH Social Work Department is seeking a Temporary Part Time Social Worker (Level 1) to join their Women, Family and Emergency Care Team.

What you'll be doing
Provide a high quality Social Work service to consumers, carers and families to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with NSLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics.
- Proven ability to work independently and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to participation in professional development and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the provision of service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, counselling, crisis management, case management, advocacy, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
