An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic administration officer to join our team. The Senior Medical Workforce Unit is commencing the Quinquennium project to renew contracts of 500+ Visiting Medical Officers. We are looking for a motivated individual that is keen to contribute to a significant project, has excellent attention to detail and is able to foster relationships.

 

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 14 September 2025 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 4
Remuneration: $36.46 - $37.29 per hour

What you'll be doing

The Administrative Support Officer, Senior Medical Workforce Unit, will provide support for the efficient and effective administration of senior medical workforce recruitment and related transactions in accordance with NSW Health legislation, policies and procedures. 
 
The role contributes to ensuring Senior Medical Workforce administrative and support customer services are processed in a professional and timely manner.
 
The incumbent will be required to assist the Senior Medical Workforce Unit in projects as requested.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Sound communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven ability to develop and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  2. Proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to prioritise workload.
  3. Excellent attention to detail.
