- Tertiary qualification in Psychology with current registration from the Psychology Board of Australia. Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, or some other recognised clinical area in psychology deemed relevant to working with parents and children in the perinatal period.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in working with children and families from priority population groups and familiarity with trauma-informed approaches, factors affecting early attachment and child development, evidence-based psychological assessments, and interventions designed for working with families in the perinatal period from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated and collaborative care, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive psychological services.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with parents and caregivers. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing client needs and priorities.
- Driverβs licence (P2 acceptable) and willingness to travel for work.
