  • Strategic revenue management experience, including analytical and modelling capability, preferably in a health care environment, including knowledge of private health insurance claims procedures.
  • Proven ability to interpret legislation and policies that apply within NSW public health in relation to revenue generation.
  • Understanding of NSW Health Information systems for billings, patient administration and General Ledger / financial accounting or related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the Medical Benefits Schedule and its application, particularly in the area of privately referred non-patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and conduct successful negotiations with key stakeholders including management, staff, other industry bodies and external agencies concerning revenue improvement.
  • Able to provide evidence of exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across broad and varied stakeholder groups.
