Renal Transplant Recipient CNC, RNSH

• A registered nurse who has a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the speciality field. In addition the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification relevant to the speciality and hold a Masters (pertaining to speciality field) or is willing to enrol and commence a Masters in the relevant speciality field within two years of the appointment.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
• Demonstrated understanding of the care required for patients undergoing renal transplantation and an understanding of Human Tissue Act and future directions of Renal Transplantation in the state of New South Wales including the Paired Kidney Exchange Program.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake quality improvement and research activities that influence and enhance clinical practice and implement change.
• Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently and ability to work within flexible working hours
