Registered Nurse, Virtual Care Service
An exciting opportunity to gain experience in a rapidly growing Virtual Care Service at Royal North Shore Hospital. The Virtual Care Service is a multi-disciplinary team aiming to facilitate early discharges from the hospitals and/or to provide an alternate pathway to avoid an Emergency Department (ED) presentation. Part Time applicants will be considered.

The Douglas Building at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH)
What you'll be doing
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/sand the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.
The purpose of the role is to provide safe and quality nursing care to patients, utilising the primary nursing model of care and nursing competency standards.
The RN will provide clinical physical and virtual assessments, care planning, case management of each patient to ascertain their care needs, and will regularly evaluate the outcomes of care provided through reviews and assessments, and maintaining up to date and accurate documentation in patient records.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and have a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
