What you’ll be doing:
You will join a collaborative team that are committed to providing top-quality care for expectant mothers and their babies and are dedicated in upholding the highest standards of midwifery practice.
As a Registered Midwife at our facility, you will be responsible for: Providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers. Conducting regular check-ups, ultrasounds, and monitoring the progress of pregnancies. Assisting with childbirth and supporting mothers during labour. Offering postpartum care and guidance to new mothers and newborns. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues.
- Computer literacy.
- Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
