Podiatrist

• Must hold registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
• Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
• Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of evidenced based Podiatry service to consumers, carers and families requiring assessment, intervention, appropriate referral and discharge planning.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
• Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary High Risk Foot setting, providing all aspects of care including assessment, wound care and pressure offloading.
