Selection Criteria

1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (FRANZCP) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
2. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders, colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
3. Experience working in the area of development/intellectual disability at a consultant or staff specialist level
4. Experience in developing comprehensive management plans within an integrated care environment for people living with disability and their carers
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary work environment
6. Demonstrated high level and timeliness of written and verbal communication skills in relevant settings
7. Capacity to advocate for the health needs of people with intellectual disabilities
8. Current NSW Drivers Licence and the ability to drive
