Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Demonstrated experience in working as a senior clinician in psychiatry and proven ability to work as a leader of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the sub-specialty of eating disorders and prior experience in managing eating disorders in adults, children, adolescents and their families.
- Understanding of and commitment to the NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders 2013-2018 (NSW Health).
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment. This includes experience in liaising with and working closely with GPs, consumers and carers with demonstrated understanding of the recovery and care coordination models of care.
- Current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel across multiple sites within NSLHD for work purposes.
- Demonstrated understanding of Patient Safety, Quality Improvement and Learning Organization principles.
