1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or other specialist recognition by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.
2. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
3. Demonstrated experience and Skills as a clinician in adult psychiatry, acute psychiatry, community based and inpatient settings
4. Demonstrated high level on interpersonal and communication skills
5. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
6. Computer literacy and skills in Microsoft applications, outlook and use of electronic medical records
7. Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2007 and its application and commitment to State, National and Local Mental Health policy
8. Current NSW Drivers License and the ability to drive
