Selection Criteria

  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  3. Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Rehabilitation Medicine or Endocrinology or Geriatric Medicine
  4. Training and/or experience in providing medical leadership and clinical input to a osteoporosis re-fracture prevention service in accordance relevant NSW Health guidance
  5. Evidence of effective leadership and collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team environment
  6. Demonstrated commitment to supervision and teaching of prevocational and vocational trainees
  7. Evidence of and commitment to quality improvement methodologies
  8. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
